* To support young people?s emotional, physical and spiritual
needs.
* To support young people?s already identified goals and
objectives.
* To support contact with friends, family and significant others.
New Beginnings currently have one unit providing care to vulnerable
young people using the Relationship Model of Care and aim to give the
young people in our care the best possible experience in the care
system.
SOCIAL CARE WORKER POSITION:
The role will involve working with young people providing a range of
high-quality services working alongside a multidisciplinary team to
meet the needs of the young people. Interpersonal and communication
skills with a strong ability to respond to challenging situations and
new environments are a desirable quality. Flexibility is essential.
The candidate is required to have a Social Care qualification and two
years post qualification experience is desirable.
The candidate will be required to work designated shifts as per the
roster and as needed, including overnights, weekends and holidays.
The candidate will be familiar with all relevant legislation and
policies pertaining to residential childcare.
The successful applicant will be subject to Garda Vetting and
reference checking.
